All contestants must be 21 and older to complete. Junior contestants must be 15 and older to compete.
The Hawaiian Idol & Junior Hawaiian Idol contests will take place over three dates, at KBXtreme, held on the center concourse over the main stage over the lanes. Qualifiers take place in the Karaoke Lounge at KBXtreme.
Adult qualifications are open every day after 6:30pm until the competition is full. Qualifications begin each January.
If you are chosen as a contestant by our karaoke host, you will get a golden ticket from the host, fill out the appropriate forms with them, pick one of two semi-final dates to compete for a spot in the finale, and a reminder call/email will be done a week prior to your scheduled semi-final date.
You will select your song. All song selections must be made from our karaoke song book. Click the button below the Jr Idol info section to browse our karaoke song book.

Arrive on the audition date to sign up and audition for the Junior contest. You may not enter the Junior Hawaiian Idol contest without attending the Audition date.
Junior contestants must be 15 to 20 years old to compete.
